COVID-19 and Impacts on the UGG Industry
We’ll always strive to get your order to you as fast as possible, however with the situations surrounding COVID, there could possibly be a delay from when you place your order to when we ship it.
We’d like to advise our customers that we are going to continue to accept orders if we're still waiting to receive stock from UGG Australia. It's important to note that every boot you see on the site is currently either in-stock or on-order - This means that the boots are always being sent to you ASAP.
This is due to an unprecedented demand across the country for Australian-Made Ugg Boots.
Other brands of Uggs are made overseas (namely China), and with COVID-19, they are unable to produce the amount of Uggs they normally can. This has lead to Australian consumers flocking to the only merino sheepskin tannery left in the country. This tannery is of course owned by Ugg Australia®, and they are just struggling to keep up with this unprecedented demand. In turn, this means our stock levels are depleting and there may be a delay while we wait to receive more stock. As both our business and Ugg Australia® adjust to these new conditions, it's essential to understand we are doing everything we can on behalf of you, the customer, to get your boots to you as soon as possible.
After ordering, I'll personally send you an email advising of any delays. We are still sending and processing orders every day though so it's still just as likely you'll still receive your boots within a week as we strive for!
Thanks for your understanding,
- Christian from Oz Australia
